Mixed Media....Dresser

I picked up a dresser this weekend while we were at Mckinney Trade days, I knew I was going to alter it so it didn't really matter that it was originally pink.

Here are the before pictures.

I picked up some My Minds Eye paper(Miss Caroline) at The Crafty Scrapper this weekend as well. Oh for the love of paper.....What would I do without it?

So here is the completed dresser.....I just need to find some cool handles for the drawers.

Just ignore my daughers hands in the picture...it looks like she's throwing gang signs but she said she's putting on a puppet show. Crazy kid....
Again ignore the hands...here's the top
and the side....the other side is very simular.

Now I'm off to search for some cool handle's. I plan on using this as a display piece at my next show...that is if someone doesn't buy it. Let me know what you think.

Remember go like my facebook page..I'll ad a button here on the blog as soon as I figure out how.
I need more followers....Thanks for stopping by!

More Art....

I had a booth at the Kaufman Scarecrow Festival this past Saturday and I have to say I am very happy that I did so well.....but at the same time I am going to be working like crazy this week to make more art because I have another show this weekend at Whitworth Ranch Retreat in Scurry and I don't have enough inventory to fill my booth. I wanted to share a few more pieces I created this past week with you. Most of them have gone to live in new homes but I could easily recreate them if you are interested in one of them.

I have to tell you that some of the pictures are not the best because I had to take them with my phone since I forgot to take pictures on Friday before I packed them all up. I will be busy this week but I will try to post the new stuff before Saturday. Thanks for stopping by!

Artsy Good Time!!

Let me start by saying I AM THE WORST BLOGGER! There it's out and i admit it! I am going to get better and I have made a note to myself to keep this thing updated. Ok, moving on...........
I am going to the Kaufman Scarecrow Festival next weekend and I have been super busy trying to get enough art made to fill the booth. I wanted to share some of the pieces I have ready so far...well most of them are ready, some just need some final touches. I have another show the next weekend so I am kicking it into high gear the next couple of days to ready. If you are local I hope you come out and see them in person.  All of the She Art is inspired by Christy Tomlinson.
